Don joined Autodesk Construction Solutions through the acquisition of Assemble Systems. As CEO of Assemble, Don led the expansion of the company to become a dominant application for BIM in construction. Don was a co-founder of Vico Software which is widely credited for building the first connected 3D/4D/5D solution for the construction industry. Don helped to build Vico until its sale to Trimble in 2012 where Don served as Director Global Construction Sales. In 2003, Don started in AEC as VP and GM of Graphisoft North America where he and his colleagues created and drove the 3D/4D/5D workflow concept into the mainstream of construction. Don and his wife Noel have three children, reside in Marblehead, MA and spend as much time as possible sailing on Massachusetts Bay. Connect & Construct Chronicle OTC Edition 2 Monday, March 4, 2019 Meet Don Henrich, Head of ACS Field Operations Don's View "The construction industry performs approximately $12 trillion in projects each year. With BIM 360 and the addition of Assemble, BuildingConnected, and PlanGrid, we now have the ability to transform our customers' business. These solutions cover the most critical areas for construction customers and as we integrate them, they will revolutionize the industry. I'm very excited to see what else we will bring to market in the next six months." Customer Success Highlight Danis Construction According to Annmarie Thurnquist and many others at Danis, construction data is the new tape measure. Here's what Annmarie had to say about their approach to collecting and analyzing construction data... "As a Senior Preconstruction Manager at Danis, one of my responsibilities is leading our 'Lessons Learned' initiative that we apply to every project. During this process, we talk about the success of the project and explore opportunities for improvement. What we learn allows us to establish best practices and identify subject matter experts. The essence of this program is to ensure continual improvement." Annmarie believes that Danis' decision to go digital in the field has allowed them to generate and gather project information that is used during these evaluations. "We've seen that implementing field technology to standardize and automate the repetitive things that our field staff have to do helps them to prioritize and plan." Congratulations to the account team led by Adam Huhn and Customer Success Specialist Douglas Croft - keep up the great work! Image courtesy of Danis Construction
