Last year, Andrew shared his vision for construction to play a key role in Autodesk's future as a design and make company and Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) was formed. Our unique structure is comprised of product development, customer success, marketing, and construction-related acquisitions. The organization is designed to allow us to move at the speed of the market and serve customers on a level playing field with other solution providers. When I think about the future of construction, I envision a vibrant construction network where predictability and productivity are exponentially increased, while jobsite waste is proportionately reduced. The time has come for a platform that will connect the industry and empower transformation. To achieve this, ACS needs to deliver a comprehensive, integrated construction platform that seamlessly connects the office, the trailer, and the field. We must create a portfolio that customers can (and want to) easily deploy and adopt. We will relentlessly strive to exceed customer expectations by building meaningful relationships and partnering with them to understand their needs. OTC is an opportunity for my organization to share the massive value proposition our construction portfolio offers to our customers. With the addition of Assemble, PlanGrid, and BuildingConnected, along with the BIM 360 platform, we have an extremely compelling portfolio that connects the entire construction project lifecycle from design through preconstruction to build and operate. I encourage you to spend the next week learning more about our construction portfolio and thinking about how you can engage customers in meaningful conversations about the future of their businesses. To be successful, we work together towards a collective win. I look forward to speaking with you all during the next week - Jim Lynch.
